Jumping the gun?

Being patient has never been my thing. So, it's no surprise that after 3+ months of looking, I'm getting a little frustrated with my job search. I don't want to settle for just any job; I want one that I love - and that fits into my long-term career plan.

As a result, I got trigger-happy with the resume earlier this week and applied for a admin. assistant position. Turns out, the position is filled through a staffing agency, and what I thought was the interview for the position turned into an interview for being part of the staffing agency - not what I was looking for.

So, the question is, did I jump the gun? Nothing says I have to accept any of the jobs this agency "finds" for me - and honestly, I'm a little hesitant to do so, as it would then limit what I could apply for on my own, at least according to the staffing manager I spoke with yesterday.

I guess it's just another reminder that I need to trust the plan that God has for my life and not try to force anything. He has a plan, and it'll all work out in His time.
