Sleeping well ?

After living (read: tossing and turning) with my ancient, worn-out mattress for the first few months of our marriage, we finally broke down, spent the big bucks, and bought a new mattress and bed frame. That's a good thing, right?

Well, as far as comfort goes, it's the best thing we could have done. However, over the past few weeks, I have been having some of the weirdest dreams, and it has me wondering... is our new bed causing the dreams? Or, am I just sleeping better, and therefore, remembering more dreams? Either way, it's kind of funny.

Along those same lines, the time change is really screwing with my sleep schedule. My internal alarm doesn't realize that there's an extra hour in the mornings, and so, rather than waking up at 6 a.m., I'm waking up at 5! Not exactly how I like to start the day... hopefully I adjust to it soon!

My eternal alarma is doing the same thing to me also! I normally always wake up around 5:30 in the a.m. to use the bathroom then hop back in bed for 30-45 minutes. Well yesterday I woke up at 4:30 and was wide awake, so I just got ready and hit the gym. I figured its a great time for me to start going in the a.m. b/c its so much easier and really gets the day started off right! So I've been telling myself its 5:30 even though its really 4:30....

Wow, I'm impressed... the gym at 4:30am. I'm still just pulling the covers over my head and trying to lull myself back to sleep... it's starting to work, so I think I'm over the change - until next spring when we do it again!
