So, I'm working on Christmas cards, with the Today Show on in the background, and a Campbell's commercial came on that made me feel SO old. It's the one where the snowman comes inside, eats the bowl of soup, and melts into a little kid. Seriously, I remember

My Amazon.com shipment arrived this afternoon, bringing my mom's gift and one of the presents for Andy. I thought about hiding it for a while, but then I decided that it'd be best to wrap it right away - no chance of him discovering it! We're one step

This is our first winter in Wisconsin, and, while we're no strangers to snow and cold, the differences in how people approach things are interesting. For instance: Snow removal. In Ohio, my apartment complex did a phenomenal job of plowing/shoveling/salting.

So, I did a lot of thinking and praying about that job offer. And I decided to turn it down. In addition to getting Andy's opinion, I asked my mom and several close friends for advice. Everyone said that I shouldn't sell myself short and work for someone

This afternoon, I decided to give candy-making a shot. And what better candy to start with than the buckeye? (Plus, I'm supposed to bring Christmas cookies to our small group Christmas party in a few weeks, and I want to put some homemade buckeyes on
