Too many pictures!!!

At Christmas, we told Andy's parents that we didn't give them wedding photos because we weren't sure which ones they wanted. And since we had a family friend take the photos for us, we don't proofs - the pictures are all online at Snapfish.

So, I share the wedding albums with them, and we tell them to pick out what ones they'd like, and we'll order them. (Side note: They have three photos hanging up of Andy's oldest brother's wedding. I figured we were looking at a similar situation.) They e-mail a list of 45 photos! Granted, only 10 of those are 8x10s or 5x7s, but still!

 The funniest thing? About 3/4ths of the pictures they want aren't good ones! There are a lot of candid, "no one's looking at the camera" shots - and we're not talking about cute candid either. Oh well. It makes me think that sometimes, you can give people too many choices. Smile

ouch.. .that stinks!! that's a tough call, i'm assuming since its thru snapfish that its not as expensive as normal pics from a wedding photographer.

Yeah, that's the thing - I mean, it was less than 25 bucks for all of the pictures they wanted. I just wish they'd wanted nicer looking photos! I guess when I thought of wedding photos, I assumed they'd want a couple of us - not the extended family ones. Oh well... that's what I get for assuming, right?

I hope they are giving you the right numbers, if they are asking for a lot of not so good candid photos.  Yeah, my mom, my mother-in-law, and my sister-in-law all asked me to order wedding pictures for them, even though I gave each one a CD with all images on it, and none of them paid us for them.  Um, we paid for our own wedding, you'd think they could at least pay for the prints they wanted.

Yeah, that's what I was concerned about! I mentioned it to Andy, and he double-checked with his parents about it - they said that "those are the only pictures that have everyone in them!" Go figure...
