No, I really don't want to go outside!

Seriously, who in their right mind DOES want to go outside now? It's -10 here, with wind chills near -30. And my crazy husband and his parents were advocating a hike/cross country ski trip. I love outdoor stuff - but not when it's 10 below. The conversation went something like this:
Andy: We should go outside; it's such a nice day.
Me: It's -10. It's too cold; I'm not going. I'll be here when you get back.
Andy's Dad: But once your blood gets moving, and your body temperature goes up, it's great!
Andy's Mom: I can go outside and give you a real representation of how cold it feels.
Andy: But the sun's out, it's such a nice day! Just for an hour or so?
Me: I'll make you cocoa when you come in. I'm NOT going out.
Eventually, they gave up trying to convince me. Besides, I don't have cross country ski stuff yet - so Andy and his dad would have been skiing along, leaving me to wade through the snow behind them with his mom. Not my idea of fun.
I'm hoping the rest of today's activities don't involved eight layers of clothes.
