Let's see, who do I know with cable TV?

Yes, I know that not having cable/dish makes us oddballs. But we have good reasons for not subscribing. (1. It's expensive. 2. It's expensive. 3. We'd turn into total TV junkies - Andy on the Discovery Channel and me on the Food Network.)

But football season is here, and my Browns are playing on Monday Night Football! Which, unfortunately, is on ESPN. And I'd love to see the game, even though it is just pre-season. And so, I'm sitting here, trying to figure out whose house I can invite myself to. I'll bring food; I'll make dinner; I'll clean up after myself... just let me take over your TV for a few hours. The crazy thing? I'm not sure that any of our friends have cable TV.

And I know I could find a sports bar to visit, but that means spending some money, and we really don't have the extra cash laying around to do that. Plus, if I'm going to go to a bar to watch the game, I'd like to have company (besides Andy, because he hates the bar atmosphere), and I still haven't met any Browns fans up here.

We'll see what happens - hopefully I find someone who will let me watch the game at their place!

I'm totally with you! We don't have cable/satelite or anything because we spend so much time outside during the spring/summer/fall that there is no sense paying for it.

And DH is trying to figure out who watches football to mooch off of.

Well...come on over!  You can have the house and 47" flat screen all to yourself!  lol  We leave for vacation Monday morning.  But...I'm thinking we're about a 13 hour drive from you...you may as well stay the week.  :)
