Farting in the bathtub and why I'm so excited about it....

Ruby is almost 7 months old and now she has a stomach bug. All weekend she was sick, sick, sick. Vomiting, diarrhea, fever, you name it. And the poor little thing had the worst case of diaper rash from all the diarreha.
So yesterday I took her to the doctor and after following careful advice of feeding 1 ounce of pedialyte and food every 30 minutes, she is on the mend. I was giving her a bath last night and she started passing gas in the bathtub and I was so excited because no diarreha was coming out. I started clapping my hands and saying “yeah Ruby, you're getting better”.
Who would have thought that I would have been so excited about my baby fartin' in the bathtub?? Only a mother/father would understand.
