Removing the Wallpaper from the Baby's Room

Well, we thought last weekend that we could remove wallpaper, prime and paint the baby's room all in one afternoon. Yes, I know, we were foolish. So it took one afternoon to remove HALF the wallpaper last weekend. Then another afternoon to remove some more. So finally we enlisted the help of Kelsey (Randy's nephew) to help us finish. Well, I should say help Randy finish because while they were painting, I was off shopping with my girlfriend for baby stuff.

I was so happy to come home and find it almost finished. We just have one wall left to paint. We even found some time to play in the sprinklers. Next weekend we hope to get Ruby's new bed and dresser, finish the wall, and move the crib into the baby's room.

I did find some great deals at the outlet stores and bought myself a couple of maternity tops. And I had a great time. I was happy just to have some time for myself and not have to carry around a 30 pound toddler and a 50 pound diaper bag/purse.
