Ruby's 2nd Birthday

Well we took the weekend to relax and celebrate. Ruby is 2 today. We took pictures Saturday morning of Ruby raiding my closet and wearing my bras around her head. I don't know what the fascination is.
On Saturday afternoon we gave Ruby her big present from us, which was a trike. She immediately hopped on and started riding. She still has to figure out how to pedal, but she scoots pretty well.
Then on Sunday we went to Chuck E Cheeses with family and ballons and cake in tow. It was a little bit chaotic but Ruby had a blast. It was nice to have Ruby spend more time with family too.
Sunday night Randy put together the present from Grammy Franco (a cute little car that Ruby has been dying for). In fact Ruby loves the car so much she kept sitting in it while Randy was trying to put it together. I finally had to distract her with a cartoon to let him finish putting it together. When she finally had the chance to get in it, she wouldn't come back out. We ended up eating our left over pizza for dinner in the living room with Ruby sitting happily in the car, eating pizza and drinking milk.
It was a great weekend. My little girl is growing up so fast.
