Ruby gets dressed up for picture day at school

Wednesday was picture day at Ruby's school. We dressed her up in a holiday dress, tights and black patton leather shoes and even put her hair up for the occasion. Everyone kept telling Ruby how pretty she was so by the end of the day when it was time for sleep, she wanted to wear the dress to bed. She was pretty insistent and wanted to wear the shoes too. Finally I convinced her to wear her “kitty dress” (the nightgown that Beth and Tom got her for her birthday). She was ok with the compromise, but I know she really wanted to wear the whole outfit to bed (and probably would have worn it in the bathtub too, if I let her).
Yesterday my pregnancy hit the 30 week mark. Everything has been going great. I keep getting false labor contractions, but about the time I get worried about it, they go away. This week has been a little extra stressful at work and I've had to work later hours, so I'm sure that has something to do with it. Tonight starts the weekend so I will be able to relax and get more rest then.
