Sleeping Issues

I saw this one coming, I really did. When I was pregnant with Violet and Ruby was still having sleeping issues I used to joke that after the baby is born, we would be up more with Ruby than the baby.
We have tried everything with Ruby to get her to sleep through the night consistently and so far nothing has worked. (see all my previous posts about her not sleeping) Oh sure, every now and then she might sleep a night here and a night there, but when I started charting the nights to detect a pattern, I realized that out of the last 90 days, she slept good (meaning from 8pm, when we put her to bed until 7am without waking up) 11 days. 11 stinking days out of 90!
So of course the reason I'm complaining about it today is because between 11:30pm and 5am we were up with her about every 15-30 minutes. Either she was scared, had to go potty, wanted more kisses and hugs, or just felt like screaming bloody murder so that we would come back into her room. This one I especially liked because it wakes up Violet too. (rolling my eyes).
So today at work I have serious dark circles under my eyes and everyone keeps saying "Oh you look tired, is the baby keeping you up?" I just smile and nod because really it's such a long story to explain that Violet is NOT keeping me up. In fact, Violet is a great sleeper. Thank God for that. I don't know what I would do with 2 of them that don't sleep.
