The County Fair, Fireworks, and a Night Out

We took Ruby and Violet to the Pickaway County Fair on Saturday. Ruby rode tons of rides (well, the same 3 over and over) and I mustered up the courage to take her down the huge pink slide. Everyone was doing so great, we decided to stop home, freshen up and then head over to Beulah Park, where they were setting off fireworks and kids could jump around in jumping houses. It turns out, the spot we picked for viewing the fireworks was a little too good. When they started going off we realized they we about a hundred yards from us and ash was raining down on us. We quickly moved and Ruby was a little scared of all the noise, but once we were in the car, the noise wasn't so bad and she could really enjoy the whole thing. Violet slept throught he whole thing.

Then Sunday we had Teal come over to babysit while we went to dinner AND a movie with Robert and Kara. It was a fun night out.
