My Brother's Wedding

Last week we packed the kids up and started driving to New York for my brother's wedding. We gave them baths, put them in their PJ's and left Wednesday night. They fell asleep within 30 minutes and we were able to drive halfway there with hardly any stops. When we got to the hotel though Violet decided to wake up and stay up until about 4am. Which made us very tired the next day. But we arrived with smiles on our faces and excited to help get things set up. (And it also didn't hurt that I had packed everything but the kitchen sink... just in case). Friday night they had a party at their new house. It was a really cute house! Then the wedding ceremony on Saturday. Then we started driving back on Sunday. The whole trip went really well and there were very few moments of stress. We even had the chance to sit at the bon fire with the rest of the adults after the wedding. (Thank God for baby monitors).
The wedding was beautiful. I cried when they walked down the aisle holding hands and then when I gave Chad a kiss as a married man. I also cried during the first dance which was "You are my Sunshine". It was a really intimate beautiful wedding and very nicely done. All of their close family and friends were there and the place was filled with love for them. I'm really happy to have Angela as a sister.
Here are some photos, including the drive home where we saw a gas station that was selling fireworks. Ha. That one cracked us up.
