Celebrating Randy's Birthday

Last weekend we celebrated Randy's birthday by cooking him a big breakfast. Later that evening a friend watched the kids for us while we went to dinner and a movie (thanks Slade!) It was a MUCH needed night away for the both of us and I'm glad we had the chance to do it.
Then on Sunday we went to a farm to pick pumpkins, ride a hayride, and eat kettle corn and chili served in a frito bag. YUM. The girls had a blast picking out pumpkins. We even planted some of the pumpkin seeds and roasted the rest.
Violet is standing while holding onto furniture and the other day she actually pulled herself up. She is getting 2 more teeth too. Ruby is having a Halloween party at school next week and I can't wait. She is going to be Snow White and everyday (a million times a day) she says "is it halloween yet? She wants to wear that costume NOW!
