Visiting Mom

Well last week Aunt Joyce was in town. She is visiting the states for a few weeks and is probably already back home by now. We all drove down to visit Mom. It was fun but exhausting.

Then we had some fun playing in the leaves. We filled 6 bags full of leaves but sadly after today's rain, the lawn is covered again. Oh well, it's good excercise I suppose.

On Saturday we went to Elyssa's 1st birthday party. She was adorable and Violet and Ruby always love hanging out with her. I love the photos of her messy face after the cake.

Of course now I'm thinking about Violet's 1st birthday. Hmmm... how time flies. It seems like yesterday when Elyssa was born, and Violet too for that matter.

I think that kind of thinking is how my sister ended up with 4 kids!  She just adored each new baby that was born and thought back to how great that feeling is...BAM!  Pregnant again.  After the fourth baby, she said she finally doesn't feel so gushy about babies and can hold them without wanting a new one of her own.  It took four kids to determine that???  She's funny.  Her having so many babies was like good birth control for me when I was a teenager!
