Making Tablecloths into Quilts for Thanksgiving Day

Posted Tuesday, November 27, 2007 2:55 PM

Well, a couple of months ago I pretended to be a greedy sister in law and swipped all the table linens from my brothers wedding. Not to worry, I (hope) redemed myself by giving him and his wife a quilt made from the fabric on Thanksgiving Day. We were all so happy that the couple could make the trek down from New York and Ruby especially had fun with Uncle Chad. (Even if he did play too hard with her and made her throw up her turkey dinner.  LOL)

We also put up our tree and in keeping with tradition we chose a wacky theme again this year. Ruby chose the princess theme and I admitt I went a little wild with it. Complete with feather boas, all pink lights and tiaras. The cool thing is that we made most of the ornaments from Disney action figures so Ruby and Violet will have cool toys to play with after Christmas. Poor Randy is outnumbered by the girls. Maybe we should let him choose next year. :)

Does poor Randy wish he had a little boy sometimes?

Your family is so cute!

Beautiful table setting, gorgeous girls!  My husband is also outnumbered, he shares Randy's pain!  Cute tree decorating idea!  ;)
