Snow, Snow, Snow, and More Snow

The news channel is dubbing it the Blizzard of 2008. Although I guess technically it's not really a blizzard. I'm sure places like Colorado and Wisconsin are laughing at the thought of 16 inches as a blizzard, but around here, it feels like one. :) Everything is closed and over half the state is under a level 3 snow emergency which means no one is allowed on the roads unless you are an emergency worker. So we played in the snow and now we'll settle in for the day and hope not to get cabin fever.

I hear you on the snow. I am in upstate NY...think Canada. And it is just non-stop snowing. They are saying 10-12 inches, some places a possibility of up to 16. Which wouldn't be so bad except it's combining with sleet and freezing rain. They were saying blizzard like conditions and although it is snowing really hard, it's not a blizzard.

I feel you! We got 13.1 inches from Friday to Saturday!  We're in a white almost-spring wonderland.  And I so just want the sun to shine.
