Adding a Deck to our House

Over the last week we had our landing taken out back and put in a deck. I'm mostly excited because once we put up baby gates, I can take the girls outside and it's "fenced in". So I can actually sit down instead of running around trying to keep Violet from running down the street.  Here are the before, during and after shots.

I'm so jealous! :) I would love to have a beautiful back yard like yours! Have fun with your girls and enjoy being able to sit for a minute!!

niiice. I can't wait until we rebuild our deck. it's an ok size now (like halfway between your old one and your new one) but I want a HUGE one...I'm an outdoor relaxing type person so I'd love it. Looks nice, did you guys DIY or pay someone to?

We had someone do it for us. I think if we had done it we would have taken a month to get it done. This way it was done in 3 days (and they knew what they were doing so we saved money on the supplies too)

Very nice.  With the house we are building, we had half price options that include the deck, so we are getting it added right away.  They are so great to have.  Enjoy it :)
