A little update

Since my last post, I have been back at work, and everything is fine. When I saw my boss I thought she would give me the evil eye, but she talked to me like nothing had ever happend. She even *gasp* asked me how my pregnancy was going, I was shocked. I told her it was fine, I just have backaches, which is normal in the 3rd trimesnter. She seemed concerned, which was weird. Maybe she got a wakeup call from her boss.

Ive been to the dr, and everything is good. My dr wants me to gain weight, great! But shes not really concernd because the Alyssa is growing right on schedule, she is approximately 3lbs which is very good, her heartbeat is a strong 152 which my dr said was very good.

In other great news do not have gestational diabetes. I cried in the dr's office when she told me. I really prayed I didnt have it, because this pregnancy is so different from my 1st, a big weight was lifted after she told me

My MIL is still on this "dont buy the baby anything" fit. ugh. She calls me and tells me she got me a bathtub, and a hamper and she filled it up with goodies. I was glad because this is more things I dont need to buy. Then she makes this comment "Well I hope you like it, even though its not the color you want" I asked her "well what color is it?" she says "the tub is white and the hamper is white" I tell her "well thats fine, it will still match, and im grateful for whatever you give" shes still not satisfied, I got off the phone.

I told Aaron how his mother is acting, and he laughs. I ask "whats so damn funny?" lol he tells me "thats how she always is when it comes to her grandkids" He then goes on to tell me that she loves just buying stuff all the time, and when someone buys everything she gets offended. Well she should have told me months ago about her little obsession. Oh well, nothing I can do about it now.
