Ive gained 5lbs! I have never been so happy to say that. My dr will be happy on monday. I have been eating junk food like crazy, and Alyssa has been jumping all over the place. She probably wants to know what on earth her mother is doing to her lol.
Girls Day Out, was so much fun. Haley enjoyed herself so much, shes still talking about it. When I took her to the library, she had a smile from ear to ear. She got 10 books! and she has read them all, and is reading them again. I even got 2 breastfeeding books for myself.
After that we went for ice cream at Baskin Robins. She got a small scoop of strawberry ice cream, and I got 2 scoops of chocolate, very good, and a lot of fun. Then we went to Pet Smart, to look at the animals. She just fell in love with the animals, and begged me for one. I told her "not right now" and I would never buy a pet from a petstore anyways. Maybe later this year if shes still thinking about it, we will talk about it.
The bags are packed. The hospital bags that is. I packed my bag and Alyssa's bag. I bought everything I needed for the hospital which is
Toothpaste
Toothbrush
Deodorant
Mouthwash
Breast Pads
A coming home outfit
Slippers
Robe
Pads. Im sure the hospital will give me these, but im always prepared.
Underwear.
For Alyssa
2 Coming home outfits. In case we have an accident, we have a backup.
2 lightweight blankets, one to match each outfit.
3 diapers. Im sure I will get tons from the hospital, but im always prepared.
2 Burp cloths
Thats all. Last time I took entirely too much to the hospital, like I was going to be there for weeks. This time I just took the stuff I know I will use. Packing these bags have made me realize how close I am to my due date, its scary. I also installed the car seat this week. Its still early, no one needs to do it this early. But im not a procrastinator. I needed to make sure I did it correctly and I did. I took it to the fire station, and they inspected it, and said it was put in right.
Now the last thing I need to do? Stock up on groceries for at least a week, so my MIL can come and cook for us. Oh I am going to love not cooking for that long, it will be heaven.
