I go back to work tomorrow yay! not! I gave my boss a letter 3 weeks ago, talking to her about breastfeeding. I wrote about how I needed to work only 4 or 8 hours. Because I can actually go 4 hours w/o pumping or breastfeeding and my supply will be ok

Monday marks 6 weeks for me, which means back to work. Except I'm not schedule to work until Friday. I only have 10 hours next week and the most I will get is 15. Talk about a slap in the face. I saw the schedule and saw that it wasnt just me its anyone

I realized that I only have 4 weeks left of maternity leave, and im freaking out. Im not ready to go back to work. I dont want to leave my baby for 4-8 hours a day. Im thinking about talking to my boss about only having me work 4 hours for a week or 2

Since my last post, I have been back at work, and everything is fine. When I saw my boss I thought she would give me the evil eye, but she talked to me like nothing had ever happend. She even *gasp* asked me how my pregnancy was going, I was shocked.

Thank you amandag56 for your advice. I called my dept HR manager today and talked to her. She has my absences on record as well, and told me that my boss cannot fire me without her consent, and judging that I only have 3 absences, I will not get fired.
