Soaked to the bone!

So before storm talk is immigration talk:  I want to be sure I mentioned that we finally got the receipt number!  It took a little longer than usual because so many people applied around the same time we did to avoid having to pay the higher fees (which were raised an INSANE amount!), but we finally have our case number at least!  Next is waiting for the biometrics appointment (fingerprint), and then it's basically just a waiting game.

 Anyway, to the storm!

We got hit with a pretty bad storm this evening!  I thankfully brought my umbrella with me to work, but it basically only kept the very top of my head dry.  I have to take the bus home and walk part of the way, so I was just dripping when I got back.  Some of the water I walked through was ankle deep, so I am glad I at least rolled up my pants earlier.

As for job matters, I haven't heard back from either place yet. That's okay, though.  We'll just see which way He leads me.  ^^;;

I know I wanted to mention something else, but I've completely forgotten.  Until next time...
