As we journey through our new life together as husband and wife in Christ, I'll use this space to detail some of our happenings every now and again. It'll be so neat to look back on this to see how much we have grown together!

Getting settled in.

Posted Saturday, November 03, 2007 6:22 AM

So we moved out of our old place on October 31st, were homeless for 24 hours, then moved in to our new place yesterday.  A few things have started to take shape, but otherwise, we have a huge mess ahead of us.  @__@  All that really matters, though, is that our new bed is super luxurious.  :D

Tomorrow, we head up to St. Paul for his biometrics appointment.  I've been excited for this since it feels like we are getting closer and closer to being done with it all (for two years, anyway).  Hopefully, everything will continue to move in a timely matter.

Other than that, I need to go kick my husband out of the shower.  Once he starts seeing our bills for energy and water come in now, he'll understand that he can't take 5 million long, hot showers a day.  Hopefully.

Congrats on the new home! Good luck with getting settled in and try not to stress too much. I know how stressful moving can be. : )

We stayed at my parents' place.  ^.~  It worked out pretty well, and the UHaul guy, for whatever reason, charged us for only on day instead of two.  Nice.

We are married as of July 7th! I strive to be a Proverbs 31 wife and am thankful for each day I have the opportunity to grow by my husband's side. ^^;; We are trying to get a few things sorted for now so that we can head down the path God has paved for us full force!
