A very *special* Christmas card

We received quite the Christmas card today. It was from Immigration! It read, "Merry Freakin' Christmas and a Long New Year!"
Which means we FINALLY received his work permit today. The people at InfoPass? Yeah, they lied. It was not sent to the correct address. We should have received it a month ago. Over a month ago. A LONG TIME AGO. Thankfully, the USPS mail forwarding system succeeded in getting it to us over a month later. We changed our address with immigration, but apparently, they still decided to send it to our old address. I just thank God He helped the mailman get it to us. ^.~ It's a little sad, though, because we aren't doing a happy dance or anything over it because of the stress we went through with it. Guh. We have it now, and that's all that matters.
But why a "Long New Year?" Oh, undoubtedly, it came with the promise of agony over our interview date for his greencard. We are *so* excited. We really can't wait for this to all be over. It's in His hands, though, so we just need to be patient.
In good news, however, my husband is thrilled with how his photo turned out on the card. XD
And in other news, I almost got fired at my job today for something that wasn't really my fault, but I would have had to claim responsibility for. :D That just made my day. Thank goodness I only have a month left until I start my new job.
It's been a day, but all is well.
