As we journey through our new life together as husband and wife in Christ, I'll use this space to detail some of our happenings every now and again. It'll be so neat to look back on this to see how much we have grown together!

"I Knew I Loved You Before I Met You"

I had a baby dream last night.  All I remember was seeing our baby's beautiful face and the notion of showing him/her to others.  For once, I had a relatively normal, happy dream.

My husband and I are in the process of basically planning a mini anniversary trip.  Thankfully, the 4th of July is on a Friday, so we'll naturally get a long weekend.  I figure that if we start planning now, we can beat some of the major cost hikes, but we'll see.  We've been wanting to go to SD to see Mt. Rushmore, but we're keeping other options open, too.  I think Mt. Rushmore would be nice for us as a breath of fresh air and just time to relax.  Maybe like edmo, it will be conception weekend for us.  ^.~  That would be beyond awesome.

Oh, I went to a work-sponsored home-buyers seminar yesterday, and it helped me understand so much!  It also helped me to see that yes, it is totally feasible for us.  So once my husband has more job stability again, we'll be on that bandwagon right away.  We're starting to look, but I don't like to look too much because if some-odd issue arises and we won't be getting a house, I don't want my hopes to come crashing down, lol.  I've done that too many times already.  For other reasons, we only signed a six-month lease at our current apartment, which is up in April.  If everything goes accordingly, we might have 1-2 months of being on a month-to-month, and then we'll be homeowners!  :D  Here's hoping!

Speaking of my husband's job, his boss is a moron.  I typed about how on Wednesday, he received an email saying that Thursday would be his last day since he was closing the school.  Well, he said all of this BEFORE talking to the leasing person to give them the proper notice which, thankfully for his boss, is only a one-month notice.  (A lot of stuff around here required two-month notices.)  So anyway, he'll be at the school for one more month.  I just had to laugh when I heard that he announced this to his employees before actually legally putting his notice in.  XD  And he's been in the business how long?

Anyway, that's about it for now.  I should go be a good wifey and tend to things around the house.  ^.~

I know how the house game is. Several times now i've thought that we would be able to start looking to move, only to be disappointed. Hang in there! When the time is right for it to happen, it will! :)

Hotel sex almost guarantees a baby...all that uninterrupted sex because you have no other concerns to distract you like work, being tired, dishes, the pets, phone calls, etc.  I so believe in hotel room sex.  Well, that and ovulating at the exact right time for vacation!  Good luck with that.  Some fresh air sounds great right now.
