As we journey through our new life together as husband and wife in Christ, I'll use this space to detail some of our happenings every now and again. It'll be so neat to look back on this to see how much we have grown together!

Interview with Life Time

Posted Tuesday, April 01, 2008 8:36 PM

So my husband is interviewing with Life Time right now to try to start a TKD program there.  I tried to practice interview questions with him last night since he's never done a job interview in English, but I think I was just making it harder for him.  I just told him to relax and be himself, don't sound like a robot in the end.  I'm really anxious to hear back from him!  Obviously, he wouldn't be offered a job on the spot since he still needs to fill out a formal application and do a background check, but I just hope it goes well.

Whether or not he gets it is totally in God's hands, so I am not too anxious about that.  I probably wouldn't be so calm if it weren't for the fact that we know when our interview with immigration will be.

In other news, my weekend wasn't so great, and this week has been rough for me so far.  I can hardly get out of bed in the morning and am just utterly exhausted.  Telling a night owl that they can convert to being a morning person with time is like telling someone born with brown eyes that they can turn blue with time.  It just doesn't work like that, at least not for me.  -.-;  Oh, well.  I'll survive.

Let's see...not much else to report.  Oh!  I remember!  I hadn't checked my friend requests here for awhile, so I just added some of you who I thought I had added some time ago.  Sorry about that!  I'm a little slow sometimes.

Ah, and the Skillet concert was fantastic.  Pics and story to come at a later time.

Good times.

re: Interview with Life Time

What is Life Time?  All I can think of is the TV network and I think it's also a fitness company.  Sounds promising though!  I hope he gets it.

I'm not a morning person either...at all!  With pregnancy, it's gotten even worse.  My boss did finally say something to me about being late, but he followed it with, "But I know you have other issues right now and I'm sure it will return to normal after you have the baby."  Ha!

re: Interview with Life Time

Life Time is a fitness club that's really expanding right now.  He said he feels very good about the interview!  They were all set to hire someone else who's already with the company, but the lady he interviewed with repeatedly told him how impressive his resume is and that he seems better than the other guy, lol.  Hopefully, we'll get some good news today!
