We're small business owners now~~

What a whirlwind of a ride!  We feel as though we're not completely ready yet, but we're certainly fully capable of operating.  All we really need is my husband to show up!  ^^;;

My husband will be running KO Taekwondo Academy at one of the Life Time Fitness centers here.  We hope to operate in another location soon, but for now, we'll be just at the one.  We weren't expecting that once he got in contact with someone there that he'd be up-and-running within two weeks (he starts teaching next Tuesday!), so we've hauled to get the curriculum finished and get the new logo professionally designed to put on the backs of the uniforms.  We'll be doing an event at the center this weekend to raise more awareness for the program and get more students signed up.

The greatest aspect about starting our business this way is that it does not require us to put down any money like operating our own separate location would.  We can get a feel for the area and build a following in a much safer environment, given the economy's standing right now.  If it doesn't work out (which won't be the case, for sure!  ^.~), we won't have lost anything--we'll certainly have gained from the experience, though.

Anyway, just wanted to share that!  I'll have more updates later.
