As we journey through our new life together as husband and wife in Christ, I'll use this space to detail some of our happenings every now and again. It'll be so neat to look back on this to see how much we have grown together!

Just feel like writing...

I really don't have anything significant to say, but I kind of feel like I do.  Good times, good times.

I'm actually feeling okay today.  I went to bed super late, but I feel alright.  It also helps that the day has been going by pretty quickly.  Also, I'm pretty stoked about the keyboard tray I had installed on my desk.  XD  It already feels much better, and it helps me to sit with better posture.  Woohoo!  No carpal tunnel for me!

Also, my thermometer came in.  :3  I have mixed feelings, lol.  Part of me says to not even worry about it, but I know it will be useful since I am concerned about not having regular cycles.  I know I have to be healthier now, both physically and mentally, but I haven't really put on much of any weight, but who knows?  We'll see.  It wil be what God wants it to be. ^^;;

It's funny because with my new keyboard tray, I keep imaging having to sit farther and farther back to adjust to my growing belly.  I'm crazy like that.

I think all I want right now is to be at home spending time with my husband.  I know we were basically together all weekend, but I just have those times where all I want to do is cuddle up with him.  It's probably just that I have a lot on my mind right now and want some rest from it.

I think I need to spend a little time in prayer.

re: Just feel like writing...

I've had a thermometer for about 2 months now, haven't used it though.  I have good intentions to do so, but I don't know if I will ever use it.  When my baby fever is at its worst, I tend to remember that I bought it, but even then, I never use it.

re: Just feel like writing...

I bought one and used it right away because I knew I would have irregular cycles (I did before ever going on birth control) and I wanted to know when to expect my period and see if I was ovulating.  Good thing I did because I was able to detect a problem far earlier than someone who wasn't charting.

...HOWEVER, if you aren't in a huge hurry, maybe try a few months without it and just see how it goes.  I really wish I was able to have one of those spontaneous pregnancies that actually shocked me, or that came as some pleasant surprise.  By the time I got pregnant, it had been 7 months of forever long cycles, 2 months of Clomid, and charting for forever.  By then, I was still surprised to be pregnant, but it wasn't the unexpected feeling I had imagined.  So if it can be one of those little "ooh, I can't believe it happened already" kind of moments, that's awesome.

But see, I need to be in control of things and I had to know what was going on with my body.  I'm OCD like that.  Plus, I love charting because it feels like I have a list, and lists rock in my opinion.

re: Just feel like writing...

ok here's my deal... i tried the temp thing for a month... totally didnt work for me. i could not tell when i ovulated. then my friend told me i had to take it at the same time every morning... i was like, even on the weekends??? well that was the kicker for me... my thermometer hasn't come out of the medicine cabinet since. i keep telling myself i'm going to try it again the right way, but somehow it just hasn't happened yet. Good Luck with it!

re: Just feel like writing...

Thanks for sharing, ladies!  We'd kind of like to use it to not get pregnant right away, but of course, you won't really be able to confirm you've ovulated until AFTER the fact.  So, if my cycles are going to go out of whack again...it might not do much, lol.

I'll keep in mind what you said about the surprise factor, edmo.  I, too, am basically a control freak about certain things, so I'm still really tossing things up and down.  Good times.
