I LOOOOOOVE FRIDAYS! DH sent me a text. He's all happy. Thought he'd be working all weekend and turns out he's not. Sent him a return text "that's what you thought mister". MORE home improvement projects agenda scheduled. Want that mud room completed BEFORE winter so I can stop tripping over 15 pairs of shoes in the kitchen. I'm such a mean wife! lol We've been lazy the last few weeks. Time to move forward focusing on 1 project at a time.
It's going to be a pretty weekend. Hot. Not interested in making DH home improvement slave the entire weekend (and besides - I help out and he makes painting look easy but it's not all that easy or fun). May have to see what's going on in the world and plan a fun date night. Tonight's date will consist of choosing tiles and paint and maybe a nice dinner. In fact, I'll insist on the nice dinner first and then the fun shopping part. He's all about shopping as long as it's at the Home Improvement store! lol Wonder if he'd go for putting that all off until tomorrow and doing something fun and crazy like dinner AND a movie? How could he resist? I know we'll be invited out for karaoke or something too. And I love nothing more than being swept off my feet and feeling like a teenager swooning over my DH and his rendition of "You Shook Me All Night Long" by ACDC. It cracks me up and he's so cute. If not for the teeniest bit of embarrassment - the crowd loves him - I just can't control him. Anyway...wonder what movies are playing?!
