R&R in the Master Bedroom

Bedroom walls - I don't know why decorating here has been such a challenge for me, maybe from years of being able to be "girly" and now thinking it probably shouldn't be feminine. So, here's the "R&R" I mentioned in an earlier blog (painted wooden letters). The window isn't centered with the bed and this is the wall DH insists the bed be placed, so I wanted something to balance the space. R&R = rest and relaxation AND it's the first name initial for DH and myself so I thought it was a cute idea:
I found these Martha Stewart candles and candlesticks on clearance at KMart (sometimes I just get tired of running to the mall and on a whim - head to KMart to see what's "different" there):
Still alot more work to be done...but I love when at least part of the room is pulled together...inspiration and motivation to finish the entire project! I think my designing still leans toward the feminine, but DH isn't complaining. :)
Still using a packed box as a nightstand (which I conveniently cut from the photo)...future shopping opportunity!
