An up & down kind of day

Hmm. It's Friday - and I couldn't wait to get out of work after another long week and finally, with a paycheck (with Christmas bonus! YAY!) - I made a bee-line to the mall to finally get started on my Santa responsibilities! If I'd have had a santa hat - I'd have been wearing it!
Earlier I was nearing ulcer-inducing panic mode because I hadn't even started my shopping this year. Giving is my favorite part of Christmas! I accomplished putting a dent in my shopping list and now I'm home and my office is all cozy since Russ started a fire in the woodburner for me...he knows I like the office toasty and the woodburner is right below me in the basement (one reason for having to wait for shopping...new woodburner + other home improvement projects).
My feet are killing me, and for some reason, I'm down. Near tears. No reason that I can think of really. Hormones? Tired? Stress? Russ' loud angry verbal commentary to the political crap on tv...to no one in particular? Poor Russ ... got my room all warm and cozy for me and I'm finding reasons to be annoyed with him. I'm always the nice and positive one and shopping usually puts me in the best of moods. And especially FRIDAYS! Perhaps I need a long hot bath and to snuggle into bed so I can wake up on the right side of it tomorrow.
