Woohoo. Another blog post - 2 nites in a row!

DH is cooking dinner and I'm just passing the time before taking my daughter to tennis after dinner (I have to get out of his way...spices flying! Even the dog runs for fear of being trampled! lol). It was a good day despite work and the VERY time consuming spreadsheet/mail merge project delegated to me because someone else is on vacation or more likely, because no one else will do it. Ugh. But, thinking good thoughts:
* I repeat: DH is cooking dinner! Nothing fancy like usual, but it's something DD requested. DH is so accommodating. It's like our own private restaurant sometimes. YAY! Oh...except for the mess. I'm stuck with that & it gets quite messy, let me tell you!
* 55 days until vacation! Still feels like quite a count down, but...hey - something to look forward to! YAY!
* Activity on BRAT (my community website - Butler Regional Area Trader). Some days time passes with no activity and I start 2nd guessing the energy/money I've invested. But today - YAY!
* Stimulus check arrived. YAY! YAY! Less than the "calculated amount", but who am I to complain?!
* DH said stimulus check is 'mine'! MINE MINE MINE! YAY! (LOL...I'll put it into the home improvement fund, but I can use it for something I want to pick out!)
* DD is calm & without attitude & drama today! YAY! Well, we'll see. Tennis sometimes brings out the 'poor sport' in her. Depends on her performance. Crossing fingers for a "queen of the court" type of evening!
* Niski did not pee on the floor today. YAY! Treats for the good girl!
Okay, I can't think of anything else to add, but that's enough to make my day! Sometimes the smallest things can boost morale! Good things out number the negative. Can't ask for more than that!
