A princess in the family!

Part I: No...I'm not talking about me this time! lol
I knew I was going to be an aunt again (my brother's first) - but today I found out I'm going to have a niece! Hurray! I don't have a niece! I have 2 nephews! And I'm always at a complete loss on what to buy them given I have 2 girls. (Of course...nephews and my girls are teenagers now and I'm once again at a complete loss on buying gifts...especially for teenage boys). Anyway - I can't wait to shop & babysit. I can't wait to get my "mittens" on my new little niece!
And my baby envy from all of my fellow nesties will now be okay...because I can hold and love and cuddle and SPOIL my new niece in a few months! It's the next best thing to having one of my own since no one would trade me a 15 yr old drama queen for their precious little infant. (Just kidding - I wouldn't trade my daughter for anything...but even a screaming infant wanting fed at 2 a.m. is a welcomed thought compared to teenage girl drama. They grow up too fast.)
So...now I really do need to hear about favorite baby online shopping places - I have some practicing to do, a little princess to prepare for!
Part II: Work today - No princess, more "minion"
Despite the slam of Monday, I did manage to get through the day. Once at about 9:30 a.m. (an hour into work), I was near tears and ready to walk out the door. But, I took a deep breath and managed to get through the day. My goal of resigning at the end of the summer keeps me going!
