Not getting along

Chris and I did not get along this weekend. It might have something to do with the fact that I was home all weekend and am almost never home an entire weekend. I spent all day Saturday cleaning the house since I'm usually working on Saturdays and it was a blessing to have the day off. Then I had plans on Sunday that were cancelled due to the snow, so I just decided to make the best of it and work around the house. We hung shelving in the living room, and when we try to do things like that together, it results in some sort of argument. Chris likes to do things right away and think as he goes. I like to think ahead and prevent mistakes. It causes conflict, that and the fact that I'm a total perfectionist and think if you're going to do something, it should be done absolutely right. Well, we fought all weekend, and it continued as we got ready for bed and he spilled beer all over the floor and red painted walls! He is just clumsy! I hope we get along better once I get home from work today, now that we have gone and done separate things and can come together, rather than being stuck together for two straight days.
