Sweetest Moment

I experienced the sweetest moment with my husband yet.  Sweeter than any moments we shared on our wedding day.

We stayed in bed for a little while on Sunday, just talking and cuddling with the puppies.  I mentioned that my NuvaRing came out that day, and then I reminded him that the one going in next week is the last NuvaRing I'll use, since we're going to try to conceive starting in April.  It really became real to him at that moment and I've never seen him get so excited about something, really, ever.  He wants a baby so badly, and we've been waiting for me to feel ready.  So we agreed April would be the month, but I think it just felt so alive to him when he realized one more NuvaRing and that's it!  Then baby time.  His smile and kisses and hugs and genuine joy will forever be in my memory as the greatest feeling he could ever have given me, especially since I've been a little apprehensive.  It was truly the greatest moment we've shared, the excitement of knowing what we're doing next, together.
