Psychic Prediction

My friend was in town and set up an appointment for me to see this psychic she goes to, but my friend bailed on me last minute to head back home - which was so annoying because I would not have made the appointment that late in the afternoon on a Sunday if it weren't for her, and she didn't even join me!  I missed out on going swimming because it was too late by the time the reading was over (and I never get to go swimming because I work too dang much).

I still felt obligated to go, even though it was $50 I didn't want to spend.  She was right about a lot of things, but she also said some things that made no sense at all.  I guess 50-50 is all you're going to get with this kind of stuff.  She was right about what kind of mom I have, that my husband is really hardworking and really wants to own his own business (which he is already buying into doing), that he has a skin condition (something she predicted because her hands and feet were itching when she thought about him, and he does have psoriasis), and that I'm looking to switch jobs soon.

She also eerily said that my husband has been thinking about taking a trip to North or South Carolina and that it would be a good idea.  I was like, Yeah lady, my husband has never mentioned the Carolinas and I don't think he feels like taking a trip right now.  Then when I got home and told my husband about the reading, I lied a little and said that she said we should go to the Carolinas, and then he said, "Really?  Because I have been thinking about the Carolinas a lot lately."  WHAT????  Weird.  She also told me that my husband needed to watch his lower back, and then later that night, my husband complained about a pain in his lower back that he's had all weekend.  Creepy.

This is what else she said: I'd be starting a new position by the end of August (fingers crossed) but that I'd have an even better opportunity next spring.  She said that once I get the new job, my personal life will just bloom.  We'll find out we're pregnant around Christmas/New Year, and it will be a girl.  She sees me only having two children, although I want three.  We'll see.

(all this without me asking her a single question or telling her anything about me)

WOW, that is really creepy/weird/neat.  I hope she's right, and you get that job that makes you really happy next Spring, and about you getting pregnant in the next 5 months.  Exciting!

re: Psychic Prediction

That sounds like a really good reading. Did she give you any advice? or tell you what choices you may have to make as far as the new opportunities?

re: Psychic Prediction

My ILs have a family friend who does readings for MIL every Christmas.  He doesn't say specifics, but he's been known to say something that makes sense in a few months, or that if you look back, is exactly right.  It's kind of creepy, because MIL always asks what will happen with the kids.  It's one of those things where I want to know, but I don't want to know.  He said we would almost call the wedding off, but we would go through with it.  We weren't close to calling it off, but there was a HUGE family fight about the invites.  I think he does get feelings or intuitions sometimes, but I don't ask him about it.
