Ramblings (a blog post from last Friday, when the Nest first started freaking out)

Since my life is pretty boring, I thought I'd post not what's going on in my life (since it's nothing, really), but just ramblings...

1. My husband has started playing indoor soccer again, his first game was last night.  He's very talented so I love watching him play.  He hasn't played for nearly two years now, and he's not really an exercise kinda guy.  So this level of activity literally kicked his ass.  He was struggling towards the end.  I hope it reminded him to perhaps break a sweat every once in awhile (not just once a week on game night) and cut back on the drinking.

2. I'm very excited to chart this cycle.  I have a weird feeling this one might be normal.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed for ovulation, and so taking my temp in the morning is fun and keeps me guessing.  Some people may find charting frustrating, but I find it intriguing.  I like figuring things out, and there is nothing like trying to figure out a Fertility Friend chart!  I enjoy seeing patterns, wondering what tomorrow may bring, learning something new.  For me, it's definitely a good idea.

3. My dogs are stinking cute.  I sometimes kick myself for getting them and allowing myself to love something else that much.  If anything ever happened...geez, I refuse to even consider it.  The fact that having children is that love only blown up by about 2 million is just plain petrifying.

4. If I wasn't able to get online at least once a day and check my email, my chart, people.com, and the Nest, I might be less enjoyable to be around.

5. I have to wake up super early tomorrow for work.  I hate waking up early.  No job should begin before 9 am.

6. I loved reading other people's quirks.  Thanks to everyone who posted to my blog asking for your own personal weirdnesses.  I have so many, and it's reassuring and fun to read about what messes with other people's minds.  Enjoy your weekend!
