Boo hoo for rain

We're leaving for Savannah tonight - it's our last trip before BoLi makes his grand appearance.  I was so excited about this trip (we had to plan one within driving distance because I am not allowed to fly - doctor's orders - but the 12 hour drive is nothing to brush off) until I checked all sorts of weather websites and they all call for rain the entire time we're there.  And not just rain, but thunderstorms!   Boo.  There's no swimming in thunderstorms.  I'm really sad because this trip wasn't cheap and I feel like we're paying a ton of money to just stay indoors for 5 days.  I could do that at home, and get a lot more accomplished! 

I'm hoping for the best regardless.

I'll be back on next Thursday.  Enjoy your weekend everyone!

well you never know, sometimes weather forecasts are wrong... and even if it does rain some of the time, it might not rain ALL of the time. Enjoy your vacation!

I hope that it is at least spotty thunderstorms.  On my honeymoon, they had called for thunderstorms the whole time, but it got all broken up and we had the best weather.  It only stormed at night, which was kinda romantic.  That is what I will hope for you.

hope you guys have/had a great trip! we were headed to savannah and it was calling for a monsoon, so we decided to stop in atl and cancle our hotel- thank god we did b/c it rained the ENTIRE time we were suppose to be there. Hopefully you guys had a great trip and great weather.

Georgia's in a drought, they've been calling for rain, but it'll drizzle then go away...this morning, DH and I woke up to cloudy, drizzling weather, and by noon it was clear skies and sunshine =) No need to worry! Hope you have fun!

Hi, I happened upon your blog.  We have a lot in common!  I am a huge Steeler fan, and my DH is a Bills fan.  And we went to Savannah on our HM.  I hope the rain hold off for you, we had a fantastic time!

I hope you didn't run into the bad weather on Sat. night. It got bad here in SC! and now I think it's supposed to be sunny down there, so you'll like that! You probably drove just passed us on the way dwn (well, not literally...). Hope your trip is good and y'all have a blast!
