So worth it.

Mmmmmmmm.... it was SO worth it.  I avoided the candy favors (although I have one of each to take home and eat - probably in the hospital room after delivery) but I absolutely had a chocolate icing covered brownie from heaven and a piece of angel food cake.  Yummy.

 

Blood sugars were high, but heck - they've been that high before after eating a bagel and cream cheese.  I think I'd rather have a brownie every once in awhile and skip the bagel!

 

BoLi is kicking like mad now.  Either he's thanking me for the yumminess or he's in sugar shock.

Oh I'm sure he's thanking you for the sweets!  I'm glad you got to enjoy yourself.  It makes me hungry just reading it!

he has a sugar rush. He's been deprived lately and is not only thanking you for the yummies, but is buring them off too lol.

I got the stroller we registered for (yay!) but in the wrong color (boo!) so I'll probably exchange it when the color we want (that matches the car seat) comes in stock...they were kind enough to give me a gift receipt.

wow that was very nice of them to get something you'll actually use! (when you get the correct color that is) usually office showers involve getting onsies and cheap items you'll likely not use much (if at all) so yay for them thinking ahead!

lol you're hilarious. and um, do the people you work with ::know:: you have gd?? lol. i hope not cause if they knew they were kinda cruel! but i wouldn't feel too bad for cheating, especially at a shower. just don't be suprised if boli comes out with a fierce sweet tooth! lol.
