In all honesty, having a baby is like trick-or-treating every single day. You never know what you're going to get...it could be awesome, it could be a nasty surprise you weren't expecting, it could scare you to death. But for Boston's first Halloween,

So here's my second list of the day. Not that you asked or anything, but there are a lot of pregnant Nesties out there, so here's my best advice. I thought I'd share my greatest highs and lows so perhaps it could help you or spare you some heartache when

I'm not an overly cautious mother. I've never checked on my baby 50 times a night to make sure he's still breathing, I don't freak out about everyone passing him around, I don't worry about a little stuffy nose or cough, and I never panic over unexplained

In response to your responses in my last Photo Blog... 1. Yes, I look just like my mom. She is gorgeous, of course Photoshop is a huge help on those wrinkles and age spots! 2. I do look at Boston every day and just go on and on about how cute he is. I

I made it all weekend without my husband! I did miss him more than I usually do when he goes away. Must be having had this baby together. Before BoLi (Boston Liam), the times when Chris was gone were some of my favorites because I went wherever I wanted

I'm a bumbling idiot anymore. I've tried starting two or three blog entries the past few days but my writing has turned to mush. For a writer, that's exceptionally difficult. But as I read over my words or try to start a new paragraph, I'm at a loss.

I don't know where this all came from. My sister didn't breastfeed, she wasn't able to produce milk. My best friend breastfed but she also supplemented with formula since her son was 2 months old. Most of my friends and cousins only breastfed for 6 weeks

Michael Bublé kicks ass! Not only is his music adorable and sexy at the same time, he's freaking hot and actually super hilarious too. His show was so amazing last night. No kidding, even my husband had fun...and it's not like he's a raging Michael Bublé

The first eight weeks, I was either high on delusion or it was the fact that I hadn't returned to work yet. Regardless, I was doing just fine those first eight weeks. Now, not so much. I'm freaking exhausted! I am falling asleep at my desk. I'm ready

Ah, the love affair between my baby puppy and my first born child, it's quite intense. Ireland adores Boston and sort of claimed him as her own. He can't be laying anywhere within sight or Ireland will rush over and, depending on her mood, lick all over

I took Boston to the doctor for his two month check up. So far, he's doing everything he is supposed to be doing...smiling, cooing, trying to hold his head up, responding to sounds, and following objects with his eyes. He's even doing things ahead of
