Fetus Stats

I went for another NST today - baby was super lazy at first and it would have been a fail (not enough up and down in the heart rate) but the nurse came in and buzzed my belly with a wand and the fetus did not like it at all so he/she did what the docs needed so I could pass and go home.
During the biophysical profile ultrasound yesterday, I was careful not to look at the screen if the tech was anywhere near the legs, but I gotta admit I am pretty convinced this is a girl. Can't say why I think that, but I'll be shocked if I end up with a Marshall coming out of me during delivery. I'll be thrilled (I want a boy) but very surprised.
The fetus is measuring small, which is a big change from when I was pregnant with Boston - they always told me he was measuring huge and even said just a week before my delivery that he measured around 8 lbs, but he was only 5 lbs 14 oz! I told the tech this and she joked that if this baby comes out at 8 lbs after measuring pretty small, then I know never to trust an u/s measurement again.
The fetus measured around the 30th percentile for its guessed gestational age, but it was only that high from some freakish 55th percentile measurement of the baby's arm bone. The rest of the measurements were around the 20th percentile, like the head and the leg bone. The abdomen was only measuring in the 15th percentile. Boston's abdomen always measured in the 90th and he came out super small (I know 5 lbs 14 oz isn't that small but he was 20.5 inches long so technically his weight was overly low for how long he was).
I do not want another teeny baby so hopefully the pounds I'm rapidly packing on go to the baby and stop going to my ass and back.
