The biggest decision

That would have to be the dress. It is a continuing saga. I went to a dress shop on Tuesday and tried on about 6 gowns. There was a beautiful Justin Alexander (8360) that was beautiful and my favorite one at the store. It had a lot of lace and beading. I was a little obsessed with it for like a day. But thinking back on it, it wasn't really me. It was too pretty, not glamorous enough or sexy enough. My ideal wedding gown will make people say Look at that sexy bride!
I went to another dress shop and tried on 3 dresses there, so that brings my total to about 40 dresses so far. I tried on a Jasmine Couture gown, mermaid, satin, dropped waist. Beautiful, but out of my budget. Plus when I showed Terri, she said the Coco was better.
Then I went online to browse dresses and I saw a beautiful James Clifford, style J3081. It was mermaid, dropped waist, had ruching, and had a little sparkle but not too much. I loved the dress! But it's also out of my budget. EVen from a discount online place (House of Brides), it was too much. But I couldn't help it, I wanted to try the dress on.
I believe everything happens for a reason. I called the only 2 dress shops in the Orlando area that carried this desinger. Neither store had this particular dress. I knew this was a sign that I should not get that dress. It was very beautiful but I couldn't justify spending that much on a dress, esp bc we met with an awesome DJ with all these great lighting effects. We are planning to spend a little more than we initially thought, but I don't mind because I want my guests to have a great time.
So I'm going to keep my eyes open for any other dresses that come along, and make sure I try on the Coco at least 1-2 more times before I commit.
More on the DJ later. I'm at work right now. ;)
