Got the DJ

After what seemed like a long ordeal, we finally have our DJ. I am so excited and relieved. When I first started planning, I contacted 2 DJs right away (one is a friend of FI). One of those DJs I have heard very very good things about. But we ended up changing our minds because we wanted a Hispanic DJ. Even though all of our guests will be English-speaking, we want a lot of spanish music played so we wanted someone who was comfortable with that.

So we then met with 2 DJs and one didn't work out due to some additional requirements our reception site needed. The final DJ we met with was Al Dee. He has such a fun personality and he has all these extra things he can add, like uplighting, gobos, dance platforms, and congas for the guests to play with. The lady I'm working with at the reception site told me she is impressed by his professionalism as well as his fun personality. He was also willing to work with us as far as pricing and such. So after some thought, FI and I agreed to hire him to do our wedding. We are going over our budget, but this also includes decor. Not to mention that this is high on our list of priorities. We want our guests to have a great time, dance the night away, and wish the party would never end. We are confident that he can do this for us. At the end of the wedding, there are some things guests won't remember, but they will definitely remember if they had a good time or not.
