Epics are fun!

After much anticipation, we finally had our engagement photo session with Nikki. In preparation for the big event, I got a mani, pedi, eyebrows waxed, hair cut, colored, blowdryed and straight-ironed, and had my stylist do my makeup. Although the look was different than what I want for the wedding day, it was still a good trial run to see how she does with makeup and what kinds of things to tweak (like we need to work on the shinyness bc I have very oily skin). Everything went well, and I felt beautiful. I put on my red dress and stilettos and headed downtown for pics.
FI and I spent about 45 minutes with Nikki taking pictures in different spots in downtown. It was a good amount of time. Any more than that and we would've gotten cranky and hot. It was a beautiful day, but it was also a bit warm. We felt pretty comfortable on camera and had fun being silly at the end. We went to Wall Street where there were people outside eating lunch and stuff. So we did a dip kiss with an audience.
Nikki said the pics would be online in about 2 weeks. I cannot wait to see them! Once they come in, we can start working on our Save the Dates. YAY! And I have a good feeling about our wedding day pictures. We worked so well with Nikki and I'm sure this will put us at ease when it's time for more pictures.
