Epics, Save the Dates oh my!

Last week our engagement pictures finally went up online. Our photographer took the best picture from each pose and made a slideshow and posted it on her website. I was soo happy with the results. The pictures came out great. I liked the one of me pulling FI's tie. Of course, I told everyone. I emailed the link to my family and friends. Terri said she cried a little while she watched the slideshow. She is going to be a mess at the wedding. Oh boy...

My current project is the Save the Dates. I'm expecting the CD of engagement pictures to come in this week, maybe tomorrow. We just have to choose a picture and insert. I already have the postcard and magnet designed. The postcard has Save the Date on front with 2 pictures. On the back, I listed travel and hotel/room block information. The magnet will have a picture, too. I think everything looks really good. I am using Vista Print, and they are always have awesome sales. Instead of completing designing something from scratch, I used their templates and played around to change the color schemes, deleted some things, and added other things. I can't wait to place the order and get all my stuff. I also made return address labels, with out double heart image. FI actually modified it in Adobe Illustrator so I can call it "ours."

That's all the updates for now. :)

great idea.  Most people don't use save the date cards a lot.  but i always tell me brides, if you are sure about the date and nothing else use save the date  cards.  this way your guest can start making reservation in case they have to travel, and this give you the chance to change ceremony locations or reception sites without having to resend invitation.   i wish you all the best, congrats
