More Honeymoon Stuff!

So we had a small change in our HM plans. We originally were going to do 2 nights at Ti Kaye and 4 nights at Sandals Grande St. Lucian. Before making this decision, I read every last word on the Ti Kaye website and there was no minimum night stay. At the time, they didn't have the rates up for 2009 but I figured it wouldn't be a problem.
Sooo... I called my TA a couple days ago to see if 2009 info was up for Ti Kaye... and it was up. Only thing is, there is now a 3 night minimum stay. So Nancy contacted them directly, but they wouldn't let us do 2 nights. So FI and I decided to add an extra day to our HM, which I am very happy about. The extra day does make a big difference. We are doing 3 nights at Ti Kaye and 4 at Sandals. We decided to go with the Oceanview Cottage instead of Oceanfront. I know the view with the Oceanfront will be better, but it's not a huge deal.
So we now have the hotels finalized. On top of that, we booked the flights. The plan was to fly out of Orlando. But I looked up flights leaving from Miami and I was like WOW! There was about a $150-$200 difference per ticket. So we decided to fly out of Miami. Since we are leaving on Monday instead of the day after the wedding, it's not a big deal. Plus, we can leave Stewie with my parents. They totally won't mind, they LOVE him!
To make things even better, I found the flights for about $530 (taxes included) each online, BUT my awesome TA was able to get them for about $50 less per ticket. That's $100 extra I can put towards my HM wardrobe fund. YAY!!! This makes me very happy. Now, we just have to think about little things like excursions. But we can wait til much closer to the HM to think about that.
