I luv my bridesmaids!

My twin is just like me, always thinking ahead. She is totally new to the whole wedding thing, just like I was 4 months ago when I first started planning. I told her she can do the shower and bachelorette whenever it's convenient for her (within reason) since she'll be in grad school at Columbia (NYC) and she's out of state.

So we were at lunch this past weekend and just finished dress shopping. K is like, so now the important thing, the bachelorette party. And someone suggested NYC and they were all for it. How awesome would that be to have my bachelorette in NYC? It would be so fabulous. I was like, Yeah it could be a Sex and the City themed party. Now of course it's going to be cold when we do it since I'm getting married in February, but that did not stop us last New Year's Eve.

Then we get home and my sis starts emailing all of our sorority sisters who are invited to the wedding to see who's interested in NYC. Immediately one of our friends emailed her back and said it could count as our Alumnae Winter trip (we do these a couple times a year) and we all LOVE NYC so I think it'd be perfect. FI might be able to hook me up with a cheap flight through work and we have a friend who works for Hilton in NYC. I like this idea, it'd be less money for my MOH to spend and we'd probably all be travelling anyway.

But of course it's just an idea. I won't know for sure until the end of the year.
