My Gift

I got the best anniversary gift - it is not romantic but I love it - DH got me the new Pink Ipod Nano - I am so excited - I have been wanting an Ipod for so long - I have already started downloading my CD's onto it - my only question is how do you delete songs once they are on the Ipod - I have no clue - so if someone could answer that - that would be great - TIA.

re: My Gift

You have to edit the play list.  That is the only way.  Then you sync it again.

re: My Gift

How do you edit the playlist - just uncheck the box on itunes - because I did that and it does not work - do you have to completely delete the song off of the playlist??

re: My Gift

Yes, completely delete the song off the playlist (it will still be in your iTunes library but not on the list.

Yeah, sorry I didn't elaborate too much.  I had to run to a meeting. :(

re: My Gift

There is an option that they give you to have all songs in the library automatically put on the iPod or just the ones you select.  So choose to not have your library automatically downloaded.  And then unselect the ones you don't want.

-Or- hook up your iPod to your computer and bring up iTunes.  Leave the song in your library and just delete it off your playlist when you bring up everything that is on your iPod.  Or when you download CDs, you can select that only certain songs on those CDs even transfer over to your library.

I hope some of our advice works.

Good gift!  I want one too!

re: My Gift

I got an iPod nano from my DH last Christmas, and as much as I love it, and the fact that he got it for me, I do find it rather complicated to figure out how it actually works. The sound is great, though! Some things I still can't do. I am sure we'll figure it out, though!
