Ok I haven't been on in a while so let me catch everyone up on what's going on with me. My Hubby and I went to see 24 weeks later that zombie movie and it was nasty just the way I like it lol. On Saturday I went to a restaurant called Thrive (on Marietta Street)
http://www.thriveatl.com/ with my dining group. My Hubby showed up and surprised me with my favorite drink...so sweet and sexy that man is lol This place has a nice plush atmosphere and the food was REALLY good...try the crab cakes and potatoes they were outstanding.
I have been trying all types of new recipes and so far so good. Everything comes out better than fantastic! I made Garlic Cheese Chicken with Parmesan Red Potatoes and Okra....man I'm not trying to toot my own horn but "Toot-Toot!" LOL It was great ya'll! Here is the recipe of course I changed a couple of things like I seasoned my chicken in a large ziploc bag after I "pounded" it to make the breast thin. I got the recipe off of the What's Cooking Board they are great!
Garlic Cheddar Chicken Ingredients: ½ - Cup butter 4 – Cloves garlic, minced ¾ - Cup of seasoned bread crumbs ½ - Cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 ½ - Cups shredded cheddar cheese ¼ - Tsp. dried parsley ¼ - Tsp. dried oregano ¼ - Tsp. black pepper 1/8 – Tsp. salt 8 – Boneless skinless chicken breast halves Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat, & cook the garlic until tender; about 5-minutes In a shallow bowl, mix the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, cheddar cheese, parsley, oregano, pepper, & salt Dip each chicken breast in the garlic butter to coat, then press into the bread crumb mixture Arrange the coated chicken in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Drizzle with any remaining butter & top with any remaining bread crumb mixture Bake for about 40-45 minutes or until the chicken is no longer pink & the juices run clear
