Cupcake Cake or Cake?

Recently I have been thinking about doing a cupcake cake instead of just a normal wedding cake. Has anyone looked into that or had that at their wedding? I think it might be cheaper then in actual cake and I like the idea of everyone having their own little cake. If anyone knows a great cupcake shop in AZ or a cake shop they would recommend let me know. Just think cupcakes are more modern.

I think I'm doing cupcakes.  We hate cake, so it just makes more sense to us.  We've decided not to glop the frosting on though, because we hate frosting too!  I went to a bridal show and picked up several cards from businesses who specialized in cupcakes.
